Maybe it's 'cool' to be a red sox fan, or that's what people think according to you. And I never said anything about it only being people from New England who are sox fans. I just said most people here have been fans for their entire life and didn't just jump on this so called bandwagon because they won. If you are so annoyed by all these people following some trend or whatever you want to call it, then just ignore them. Why are they worth your time.

 
it is sad to see all these fans. perhas that is why new england, especially boston is such a depressed place. whenever the red sox loose, or choke, which is fairly often, all the fans get so sad. it is a horrible site, ive seen it.

Fujative please, please, stop using the same arguments repeatedly. Constant repetition of your points doesn't make them any more valid. Stating that 19 games in to the season the yankees have a poor record, doesn't make them a bad team. Facts are facts, and I would rather see facts being used, instead of opinion. The Red Sox have won once in 86 years (i think that's the right number). That's a fact. It means they were actually a good team in 1/86 years. (using your argument that you are a good team only if you win the World Series.) The Yankees however have won 26 world series since 1918. That's 26/86. Using the "good team" argument, that makes the Yankees a better team. But winning the world series doesn't make a team good. Nor does a record.

A team could play the best game of their life, and through some stroke of bad luck, lose. Another team could play a sloppy game of baseball and win. That doesn't make the sloppy team good, or the amazing team bad. It just means one team won, and another lost. Sorry if this does resemble a rant.

You dumbass, anyone that knows me will tell you that I've been an absolute die hard fan my whole life. I know just about every stat, trade rumor, etc. I watch almost every single game. To answer your question about wanting in on the Yankees cult, I was at first going to make a retarded comment on how much I hate the Yankees but then I decided that I wouldn't mind just checking out what you guys have to say while I keep to my own.

to the bandwagon comment on the yanks and how many people can't name more then A-rod and Jeter, Not just bandwagon people. I was born in NY and was raised a yanks fan, and I still can't name more then 2 or 3 players, while I can name most of the Red Sox. I wish I was an astros fan before, not a yanks, so I could also be a sox fan, cause in VT, the sox games are all I watch. I can't wait for the next sox game, and I honestly haven't cared how the yanks have done since 3 or so years ago. Weird ain't it?
