i asked my 5 year old neice who she was going for. she said "whose playing?" i said "the red sox, and the yankees" and she goes "im gonna have to go for the red sox, they have one point and the other team looks like a bunch of losers"

whoever said 'it looks like the red sox won the first game' is ridiculous, you can't call it early ever, especially with the sox. even when we were up 7-2 i was afraid we'd blow it somehow. still a good game though. highlights for me:

1. home plate ump looks a-job in the eye and punches him out STRIKE 3

2. giambi sucking ass constantly

3. papelbon, even though he had a bad inning, it was funny watching him curse into his mit
