God has told me that boston will win 2/3, then go to New York and win the division tiebreaker game. Cleveland will win 2/3 and beat the yankees in the wildcard playdown.

^wishful thinking. yanks win tonight, lose a close one tomorrow (i see ortiz with a double off the monster in the 8th to score the go ahead run) then boston gets all cocky and loses by 3 runs in game 3. clevland takes 2 of 3 from the chicago and the red sox are golfing by my 18th birthday (october 3)

i'm intrested to see what happens...pre-2004 i know that the sox would blow this series and not make the playoffs. but post-2004 i wonder if they'll go back to old ways or be as solid as they were last season. they can't do what they did last year without schilling though

props to the original poster for the good prediction. I love how the yankees come back for only leading 20 days of the season and end up in first when it counts :). It would have been crazy if the sox didnt make playoffs. GO YANKEES!
 
10-1, kickass. joe torre is gonna be kicking his ass when the sox use the wildcard to beat the yanks again. way to take his entire offense out.
 
ummm...yeah you do realise that this game made no difference, right? even if the red sox lost they still would have the wild card. so why waste your teams energy? but your right, you are probably a much better manager than joe torre. He hasnt won any world series rings.
