How can you say red sox fans don't have "intimate baseball knowledge" You are making a stupid generalization about them based on maybe a few sox fans you know who don't know basesall that well. Every team has fans like that. All your arguments are completely stupid.
 
yea fuck tampa. wakefeid is soo shitty. and becket is def hurt and they arent saying anything. he isnt pitching like he normally does. if they win the next game i think they can win the seiries. if they can pull it off with the yanks they can do it with tampa too
 
yea, um....i live about 25 minutes from Fenway. I've gone to countless sox games, including the 4 straight games they won against the Yankees in 2003. Trust me, i'm a sox fan, just now being at school i'm busy and not able to follow it as much as i used to. So apparently just because I can't see every pitch of every game, i'm not a real fan. My bad, you must live directly below Yankee Stadium or something in order to be as hardcore a fan as you are. So i'd say i didn't prove your point exactly, because that would mean that by not being able to watch or go as often, i'm no longer a fan.

 
actually what do i care cause after tonite it wont matter anyway the sox are done and my phils will meet Tampa bay in the world series. so you all can just go cry yourselves to bed tonite.
 
wow, ate my words so bad. i couldnt believe they were coming back. after the 6th i thought "god just end." i hate blowouts, so it was nice to see a dramatic comeback even though i don't like the red sox, and at least this way tampa can win at home!

my friends dad was at the game and he left in the seventh inning when they were down 7-0. he drove two hours home and didnt even listen to the game on the way back, woke up this morning and found out they won...
 
one of my friends was on the green monster, and our family's friends were in their 4 season ticket seats. i didn't know when the game was on. I FAIL.
 
i was there last night. fenway was going nuts from the bottom of the 7th to the end of the game not one person sat down. without a doubt the best night of my life. So fucking sick. come on sox lets take it to them at the trop!
 
im a boston fan but they are going down in the 7th. i think its gonna go all the way but i doubt they will get into the world series
