definitley one of my fav bands, i was just wonderen to all the huge fans who are always up on their news and shit if they are gonna tour again, and if so would it be anytime soon?

I saw them in Albany 2 falls ago and the show was absolutely unreal hit me with anything id pry like to know thanks
 
Alright I'll back you up on this one.

They fucking rock. Wicked music to chill to with some good beers in you. People say they sound the same, but you get that with every band. I think they've kept they're sound plenty diverse over the years, Which brings up another point. They've stayed awesome for 20 years and dont show any sign of stopping.

I saw them two years ago In Ottawa with TMV. Wicked show. Wicked band. Props to the chili peppers

and this is kind of ironic, I don't know if you know this, but I just found out the other day that they are going to be making a new album very very soon

RHCP is easily my fav band. Like they have the biggest varity of music from like Mothers Milk to where they are now. And their guirtarist is fucking incredible.
 
you have no appreciation for music then, john fruscantes if one of the greatest guitarists ever and flea is probably the best bassist ive ever heard, even if you dont dig their music theres no reason to hate on them i dont like screamo/metal but the drums and rifts in that shit is insane.

anyway, i fucking love rhcp, i've probably looked up tabs on every one of their songs, sooo fun to play and so funky
 
well they actually fell apart a couple of times when their guitarist john frusciante started doping up on heroin and fucked his life over. but he bounced back and hes amazing at guitar.
 
Don't get me wrong man, I love red hot chili peppers (its been my name here for five years), but they definitely aren't the best at guitar or bass.

That being said, I really dont think they sound the same. They started off all funky, then went more rock with the album "Californiacation," then they were sorta pop/rock with "By the Way," then "Stadium Arcadium" was an awesome combination of the previous two. All red hot chili peppers songs definitely don't sound the same.

I saw them in Boston last year, kickin show.
 
i just started readen Anthony Kiedis's bio "Scar Tissue" its unreal, im only a few pages through cus i started today actually, but i highly suggest that you all pick that shit up and read it, its crazy
 
Yea the 80s stuff is by far the best. Stadium Arcadium sucked in my opinion. Freaky Styley and Mother's Milk are where it's at
 
I heard talks of Bootsy Flea and Les doing an album together. with 3 bassists i dont know what the hell it will sound like
 
yeah i saw them live twice

once in 2004 - most amazong concert ever!!!

then for their staduim arcadium tour, wich was soooo wicked becuase they played with the Mars Volta and at the end they just jammed impromptu for like 20 mins with the lead guitarist from MV.

probly my favourite band, so sick live. i just recently got into john frusciante's solo work, check that shit out its unreal
 
i read that too. i was kinda disappointed it didn't talk more about the music aspect and about his relationship with the band members more. it focused on his random girlfriends and his drug problems too much i thought. still an interesting read though.
 
yeah i mean im not too far into it yet, but i feel like hed rather tell about his own life more than the band because its more of him being on his own, i guess ill find out soon tho haha
 
I'm not going to go as far as to say they fell apart. They had a successful album with Dave Navarro on guitar. It changed their sound a fair anmount but every band goes through evolutions. Of course when Fruscianti returned for Californiacation they were back to their bomb self.
