So I just got their new c.d. from a friend and I don't think it's that bad. I'm usually into the rap but a couple songs are pretty good. Agree or Disagree?
 
b/c of the tom petty move perhaps???

i like the cd alot, despite some current controvery. i support them
 
i've heard dani califonia too many times too... but by tom petty not red hot chili peppers.. by tom petty, and yes thats why i'm boycotting their new CD becasue of their jackass move on that tom petty song
 
i havent heard it, but i like em so its prob good, i never listen to the radio, so dani california is still good to me
 
people write similar stuff all the time. if you check the tabs you'll see that they're not the same chords. plus the tom petty song on that thing is sped up TONS. just listen to a whole bunch of songs with power chord progressions in them, i'm sure you'll be able to find something else similar to those songs.
 
but dude, wrap your hear around this, rick ruban the guy that produced it also produced last dance with maryjane, so he would have been able to say, you know i have heard this riff before... so if you still think that its now right that they stole his riff, then you must not have heard about that part of it. cause if its the same guy that produced both albums it could have been put to a stop before it was even out.
 
quit your fucking whining it was like 10 seconds of the entire cd

the cd is so amazing i cant stop listening to it. i honestly dont care that part of one of their songs sounds the same as one of tom pettys songs it really isnt that big of a deal. how about you start whining about how bands do cover songs and make tons of money off it...for example lenny kravitz- american women, shinedown- simple man, metallica- turn the page plus the rest of one of the cds they made, whole cds made from beatles songs...and the list goes on

so in conclusion stfu n00b
