Red/green/purple names editing their posts

This is starting to annoy me, it seems like every thread i click some green/red/purple name (mostly purple) has posted something, and then edited their post. Are you fixing typos? Where you wrong, and changed whatever you said to not make a fool of yourself? Did your embed fail?

Stop editing every other post you make. Or at least add an option that lets us see the original post.

uh..... I'm the only purple name with mod powers so you're pretty wrong there about purple names being able to edit stuff.

I don't really edit that much... I edit other peoples when their embed fails and fix it for them (in M&A and BST mostly) but besides that I don't fuck with other people's posts. I also really doubt you see me editing every other post I post lol and I hardly see edits in actual posts by other mods so where are you seeing this?

Honestly, i don't remember. I had a few beers, came on ns and got annoyed by "all" the edited posts. Some might have been edited by others, i dont know. I'd look into it if there was a function for that

Yeah, I agree with Nutz on this one, only possibility is that a mod edited a purple name's post....

We use the edit feature for productive purposes, we don't use it to make ourselves look better or give ourselves any sort of advantage. I only edit posts to fix embeds, delete inappropriate words/phrases or fix misleading typos/misleading titles etc.

If you have a specific problem with a post, instead ig making a booze fueled hate posts please send me a message and we can evaluate the situation.

When I edit my posts, it's usually to fix a video or picture link that failed. I never edit my post to add more, or make myself look better. I can make a fool of mydelf without edidting things. (Look how I spell lol) Double posting is fun, and I like it.

I'm still purple too, but I rarely ever edit my own posts outside of cults where, well, everyone has that power. The only times I do it's to fix an embed (which is something I'd do for anyone who's embed failed). I don't even bother to fix typos.

There was a point where mods were editing their own posts, but we really stopped doing that, 95% of the time we'll just quote ourselves to clarify something.

Oh, and pretty much anyone can edit their posts -- they just don't have a button to do so. If you really want to edit something in your post or delete a post entirely, simply PM a mod, and they can do it. But honestly, it's not worth it most of the time, just quote yourself and clarify what you meant to say, most people will get it.

Doesn't happen that often, but NS could make a system like reddit where you say what was edited, so just like "typo" or "fixed image" or something.
