Ok, just because I'm so bored and I helped some friends review for their Global exam yesterday I will refute this. Here's the source first off,http://www.sscnet.ucla.edu/southasia/History/British/EAco.html, along with previous knowledge of world history gained through the book The Earth and it's Peoples. Ok, The East India Company had control of India for many years, until the Sepoy Rebellion of 1857 which was caused by the Sepoy's (Indian soldiers) having to rip open a cap on their black-power horns with their teeth and the cap had some pork on it. After this revolution, the company was dissolved because the Crown saw the company as incompetent (also seen in the Boston Tea Party). So...... yeah. Never no India Tea Company, never no Indian Rebellion, never no British India Company.
