I chugged 3 one time on a chairlift and ended up stopping halfway down that run, sitting down and passing out. My friend said I was out for about 2 minutes.
 
I think it comes down to reasonable expectation, I don't think many people expect to be served 180+ degree coffee in a cheap paper cup. On the other hand people might not think that a fork is sharp and walk away with some money. Honestly I think the country severely needs some tort reform but that this case has been horribly skewed by the media.
 
Damn that's fucking ridiculous. Sounds like he did it by the books though. Taking out your starters early and letting the clock run to end it faster. What else could they do. Telling them to "take it easy on them" is fucking ridiculous. The point is to play hard the whole game, good sportsmanship but play hard. If the worst players from the bench are still getting touchdowns non stop against you, you might want to work on your team a bit in the future.

People just love to bitch and say the world was out to get them.
 
A girl who went to my high school's dad passed away in the middle of a basketball game at the gym just from a heart condition. It was extremely sad, but you can't blame this case on redbull
 
It's crazy how misconstrued this lawsuit was in the media. There had been many complaints about the coffee at that particular McDicks being served too hot that were ignored by the corporation, and they continued to serve it ridiculously hot.

The woman also tried to settle for 20k, but McD's refused.
 
This was the original Stella case. I remember her attorney making a statement after the victory: "This should stand as a warning to all restauranteurs, that the coffee they are serving is just TOO hot". Can't believe he was able to say it with a straight face.

This one actually is more understandable. The drive through person handed the coffee out but the lid wasn't all the way on, and the coffee ended up spilling all over the driver.

The Stella case was completely different, because she took the lid off herself, and put the cup of coffee between her legs, then she managed to spill in on herself, which of course scalded her McNuggets.

I hate lawyers!

 
I watched the 10min sympathy for Stella video. Gotta say, still 100% her fault. They say in the video that the car was stopped, but my money was on a moving car.

i really hope redbull takes them to court and leaves them with nothing. ttheir case is bullshit. they should just make the trial really long so the family loses all their money hiring expensive lawyers

The reason she won is because McD's found out that if you use less coffee beans, but heat it up more, then people wont notice that its actually less coffee.

This increase in temp + less coffee beans somehow screwed them over in court.
 
People are so stupid and self centered like ok if someone in their family dies they think it's sad and all but they think to themselves we could probably get some money for this even through it wasn't the companies fault and sue them.
