Red Bull Cola - hitting shelves in June

They have RedBull Cola over here in Budapest. I bought a can last week, and to tell you the truth it taste like shit. I love regular red bull and all the events that they put on but this is by far the worst thing to come from red bull ever.

Buy it once just to try it, but I am sure after that you won't buy another can of it.
 
Dudes, I'm drinking a can right now, and I think it tastes like shit.

It tastes nothing like Pepsi or Coke (english or american, yes there is a difference!)

It kinda taste like the cola bottle penny sweets you can buy (not sure if you get them in the US?).

And if i'm being honest, its not really that nice, its not really red bull. Normal red bull is way better

and to whomever asked why RedBull is making cola... think before you type. they're a beverage company with only two products- RedBull and Sugar Free RedBull. sales are way up and they're the second-largest energy drink in the US- it's time to expand. why not sell merch? because they never have and they likely never will. that's their business policy and it's been working for them. with that kind of brand control, they've been able to associate themselves with the top athletes in the world, not the hick douchebag who wanted to slap a sticker on their truck to look like a badass (i think of all the Monster stickers i've seen...). when i think of Monster, i think of overweight, hick douchebags with XXL Monster t-shirts and their ass cracks hanging out of their pants. something tells me RedBull is trying to avoid that image problem. asking why RedBull would make another beverage is like asking why GM would make another car.
 
actually, theres a little shop right off our train station that sells red bull for like $1.50. I was amazed at the price

I got some out of the Red Bull Mini Cooper at a skate event a few days ago. I haven't seen it in stores yet either.

I do agree though that's it's an acquired taste just like any other "energy slash whatever" drinks.

You can't tell me that Monster Java's taste good, cuz they just don't.
 
no shit, all i'm saying is that i finally got my hands on some. A release date and when you actually get it in your hands can be a long time...
 
The first sip i thought it tasted like absolute shit. But as i started to drink more of it it started to grow on me. and plus its only like 1.30 for an 8oz which is still insane but cheaper than reg redbull
 
When i had one i thought it tasted like the flat coke you get at the buffet when they run out of CO2. then i decided for some reason i like it. Buy that shit

honestly, the sugar content in colas and energy drinks is just to much.
 
at my college theres a kid whos girlfriend is a redbull rep he gets hooked up so good, he was sippin on the redbull cola last week
 
its pretty obvious that they did it so you can order a rum and red bull cola at the bars. they are covering their alcoholic bases.
 
this is stupid, the only reason i buy redbull is because it tastes so fuckin good. If they come out with a product that is just mimicking someone else (coke or pepsi) and still have it at 3$ a can, nobody is going to buy it in there right mind. Redbull really started the energy drink market which is the only reason there still selling cans of it because they created a niche.
