When my dad saw pics of me doin urban he flipped out and is making me get both.

I don't mind at all as long as its not really uncomfortable and hard to move. Do you guys have experience with the impact clothing?

Which is better? the first one seems more bulky but, the second one seems like it wouldn't protect much so why is it more expensive?

if i were you i would get the poc back protector, such good gear, and its lightweight and comfortable from what i hear. jon olsson rocks it as well...

this is the one i have:

back protectors are actually really legit...i wear one for speed races because several kids I know have broken thier backs from getting off balance in the air and eating shit going 80mph....they make you feel really supported and strong and they actually feel kind of good. A lot more freeskiers wear them then they used to...and they arent really that noticeable....i really like the way mine fits but the poc ones are good too, kind of overpriced...but meh...

i have the crash pants haha. i rock them alot. after i broke my tailbone 2x. they help alot. especially east coast. but now i live west and i dont wear them as much but they're not uncomfterable at all. just make sure u have really big pants. else u might have a problem

i actually have the back protector and the impact short after several back and hip injuries and my physcial therapist telling me to wear protection i decided to try them. only thing i find is that i lke wearing under armour boxer briefs under the shorts otherwise they are really uncomfortable. and yea jon olsson does wear a poc backprotector
