Record Height for Quarter pipe

After seeing Simon and Candide go absolutely huge on quarter pipes over the past two seasons I am curious to see what skier or snowboarder has gone the highest. I just went through the Jon interview in Happy Dayz where he talked about how snowboarders were going big in Norway the season before and how he didn't feel it was right they had the biggest air. So that's when Jon built the quarter where he went 31 feet out. Buttt that was back in '02 or so, so what's it at now? I've seen video of the snowboarder Tejre and i'm not sure i've seen Dumont or any skier for that matter, go that high, but i really dont know.
 
i read something earlier today that said the biggest snowboarder air was 29.4 feet.
 
you're all wrong. first off you have to land for it to be a record, which simon didn't, but in any case, candide went over 40 feet out of the one he built for his invite2 seasons ago.
 
Yeah... Candide owned on that QP. Im pretty sure he fell too though... didnt he? Either way he was sooo high out of that. It was a massive QP to begin with though.
 
on the cover of pbp's WAR was andreas hatveit or was it candide who was doin 34''? thought that was the record back then.
 
simon was trying to break terje's world record when he messed himself up. record is still 38 ft for a quarter pipe
