Recommendations on all-mtn twin?

Ok, so I think i've narrowed it down to these for a new ski to reserve strictly for all mountain use and never to touch rails (I might use them on jumps and pipe from time to time, but that isn't a primary consideration).

-Old Mad Trix (black/white) Also, Is there a difference between this and the new ones except a fancier graphic?

-New Mad Trix w/ Tyrolia Free Flex Plus 8 (found a good package deal, would only be interested if bindings are reliable)

-2004 Mavericks

-PEs (Would probably only be able to find 05 models)

-TMs

I am used to skiing everything on last year's 168 Scratches, but am going to keep those just for rails now. I am interested in something that would perform better for the rest of the mountain and I could keep sharpened. The pros/cons of skis you know about would be great as well as your overall recommendation. BTW, I am looking for around 180cm for a new ski.

Have you ever seen a little kid slide back down the inrun of a kicker without going over? This is why parents shouldn't dump their kids off anywhere near the park...
 
all mountain..... i would go volkl karmas

basically because volkls suck at park and make a gnarly race and big mountain ski

 
what is the point in getting any of those skis if you primarily plan on using them out of the park? none of those are a good choice, save maybe the mad trix...maybe you should look into k2 mod x's or something.

pocket rockets for sure. they have a 165, and they rock all mountain/powder/ and are good in park

darksides, theyre made for 20%park 80%all mtn, or a ski like salomon crossmax or volkl superstars or whatever theyre called

I can confirm that the black/white mad_trix are the bees knees in all kinds of crappy snow conditions I find in the east.

 
The mavericks or PEs would be the best choice that you listed, but if you aren't going to ride park with them than maybe you should go with somthing designed a little better for what you want to do...

Huhm, well mostly I was looking for a twin because I just like the way they ride in general, and I'll still probably do SOME jumping and stuff with them, just no rails. I sorta overlooked the Darksides, those could be a nice option possily. I was thinking that the Mad Trix would be my top choice anyway, but what do you guys think about Darkside versus Mad Trix for in and out of park minus rails, but more out of park?
