Recommend me a tablet

Im looking for a tablet that i can do some basic GoPro video editing on, basic picture editing, and the basic Microsoft Office type stuff with. I assume i would need an external HD to hold the content, but id like to be able to have a portable device that i can take with me on the go that can do a pretty good job at everything.

Im looking at the Dell Venue 8 7000, and the iPad Air 2. Any other suggestions? obviously price is a factor.

The surface pro is super cool.

Do NOT, I repeat NOT get this computer. I'm a senior in HS and last year the school decided that everyone should be required to get a windows tablet. Most kids got surfaces. THESE THINGS SUCK ASS. I haven't met a single kid who hasn't had major tech/hardware problems. Most have had to send them back in to the manufacturer multiple times for repairs. Furthermore, the keyboards they come with are SHITTY as fuck. Paper thin and terrible quality. The trackpad is part of this and is about the size of four postcards.

Surfaces are overpriced and crappy machines. I recommend you get the new iPad which is fucking dope.

Did they get the regular or the pro?

I had only ever heard good things about the surface pro one of my friends has had one for about a year and has had 0 problems with it.

Microsoft sucks dick, to be honest. Even though apple devices are expensive, theyre the best for everything but gaming. Especially video and photo editing. only problem is the higher end editing software is only available for ipad pro and mac. The only gaming i EVER do is shredsauce so my macbook air works fine.

My friend has had good luck with his surface (not pro). I guess I don't have much experience with tablets though. The iPad seems to be the benchmark for all quality tablets however.

We got a surface pro 3 an iPad and a samsung galaxy something or other to test out at work. They go out on construction sites and stuff like that and are used in trucks mostly. The first thing we did was immediately break the surface keyboard. The iPad has a Bluetooth keyboard that works with a hard case that is super nice. Gives it like a mini laptop feel. I would be skeptical of any of these machines ability to process video editing but obviously that's something you'll have to decide for yourself.

I was seeing a girl for a while in law school what a surface pro she had no issues with it. I recently got an HP tablet for free but I don't do video or software editing so I can't really say how good it would be for that. But I do like it

The surface pro 3 can run Titanfall. Not to mention you can get adobe programs on it. I would recommend going for a newer surface pro tablet either the 3 or 4. The nice thing is it can also be turned into basically a desktop computer so you can start to edit something on the fly go home and hook it up to your TV or computer monitor and finish the job if you want. I have used the surface pro 3 and found it was better than my laptop. Lol
