Recommend Me a Ski

Looking to switch it up to something new to shred. I ride in the east cost (southern ontario) and I ride mostly rails and my main thing or things Im looking for is durable, not super wide (under 100mm), a softer flex for some more fun, near symmetrical shape, and especially a lower swing weight. So throw some names at me!

My past jibish skis have been K2 Domains (base delam, gnarly edge cracks, you get it) and the older way softer punx from seasons back (fucked the core big time and it ripped out after two weeks). Don't really care about price because I always just buy past season skis marked down. Thanks dudes!

You forgot the kitten factory rayzrblaydz :(

The J skis whipit is very flexible, you will have fun on those, as do I on mine, I would recommend that ski, they also have the thicker edge and base, and lets face it nothing beats those collage based graphics.

The best most durable ski would be the Line Afterbangs.

They have a 3-D butter zone.

They are constructed like a skateboard with layers which make them super durable.

Look up Line Afterbangs slap test and you will be amazed

"Durable Line Afterbang" is an oxymoron

No joke, im still rocking an og pair of ABangs as my urban skis. I all I really use them for now is urban, but for two years rode them heavy in the park. I actually do find them supper durable and fun for jibbing, its sad that a lot of people don't for some reason.

All my friends and I had pairs back in the day. After a day of skiing in the rain they were like 50 pounds, and it didn't take long for durability to go out the window

mine are pretty short for me now, like 166 (that's why i don't ski them on the mountain anymore). it seems like all the longer pairs of ABangs have bigger durability issues. longer ski = more stress in the flex, causing more delam issues?

Since people are bringing up the Al Dente, I just want to point out that the Faction Prodigy has very similar specs to the Al Dente;

Al Dente - 135/99/125

Prodigy - 136/98/126

The Prodigy is very soft in the nose just like the Al Dente. The only major difference being that the Prodigy has a tiny bit of tail rocker and a slightly shorter sidecut 20m versus 22.

Basically though, if you wanted to buy the Al Dente but you didn't want buy an Armada ski, you could buy the Prodigy and come pretty damn close to having the same ski.

They are. All ON3P skis are by no means soft in flex but the rocker makes them so playful. If OP wanted ON3P he could go the FR or K98 and should be able to butter around just fine. The FR are softer and with the rocker they are super playful, the Kartels are a bit stiffer but ON3Ps rocker is a flawless design
