i havent ridden anything other than the darkstar armor lites in years.
they have a carbon fiber thing that makes them harder to break, and they retain pop. but they dont have the weird feel that like the element ones with the carbon, or the almost ones with the discs. plus i love their shape in terms of concave and things.

enjoi has nice scoop but terrible pop.
almost has a really nice scoop and pop for a few months depending how much you skate. but you got to get the impact supports with the maple/carbon fiber insets on the trucks. amazing deck
