looking for a light, good-looking backpack with some kind of ski carry. 10-20L. skate straps would be nice, and id perfer no rigid internal or external frame. something other than dakine preferably, their packs that i have seen seem pretty heavy, maybe its just me.

+K

Have a great day NS!

Heli pro seems ideal to me. Its a good day pack.

Not sure why you think dakine is heavy, no heavier than most other packs...

i've never been disappointed by an ortovox pack, i've had a few and i have one currently that's awesome but it's much more techy and big than that one. it's a pack i'd bring for an overnight touring trip

heli pro has an adjustable loop for tails and an adjustable strap for tips. can handle anything. plus the multitude of other awesomeness that is the heli pro. fully recommended for any ski-related backpack-necessary activities. unless you're camp touring or something, in which you could probably still get by with a heli pro if you planned/packed macguyver style.

I bought an ogio pack, that has lastest me a long time and has been very reliable. Ospry or a Heli Pro seem like good bets too.
