Recomended height for drop in

hey i want to build a summer set up... my backyards pretty flat and im gonna be using turf. what do you recommend for how tall i make the drop in? i was thinking about 5 feet? any better sugestions?

i havent made one yet but im thinkin 6 feet hight with an 8 foot long ramp any one else?

mines 5ft with an 8ft ramp on a pretty flat area. it works really well. however it depends on how tall your rail is. my rail is 10inches and i have no problem getting speed for it. if your rail is over a foot tall than i would recommend a 6ft tall dropin.

with that can you get enough speed for 270's on? and waht about switch ons or is that too sketchy?

depends on how long of a rail you want to slide if you want it to be longer than 10ft than you sould go much higher than five mine is ten

Speed varies. I've got a five foot drop with turf and in the winter and fall hell yeah its enough for whatever you want to do. But, if you live some where hot like say...fucking new mexico...when it hits 80 90 100 degrees turf and skis don't get along so then no, its not enough for that.
