Reckoner 112 length

Hi ns

I’m looking at getting myself a pair of Reckoner 112s as a powder/ touring setup and can’t decide on what length I need.

I’m 5’11” and 165lbs, I ski in NZ but head overseas when I can. My daily driver is a sickday 104 in 186 cm which feels pretty good size wise. I’ve also got kartel 108s in 181 which I find a bit short and don’t use as much. I like a ski I can charge on that is playful at the same time. Not doing much in the way of tricks currently.

As the reckoner will pretty much just be my pow ski I’ve been wondering if I should go for the 191. All the size charts I’ve looked at put me on the 184 but I don’t want to buy it and find it too short. The main problem I could think of is the 191 would be fairly big for touring on. I’d be mounting them with shifts.

I’ve also been looking at some white walkers but I can get better deal on the reckoners.

I’d go 184. At 6’1” 190 lbs the 184 didn’t feel terribly short to me, and if you’re gonna be touring at all I wouldn’t want to be on the 191.

I concur here. I’m the same height as you OP but a good 50 pounds heavier and the 184 was enough ski for me, I never felt like I needed more in front or behind me. If you wanna tour the 191 would just be obnoxiously heavy.
