Anyone have any experience with riding the k2 reckoner 102s on rails? I ski mostly rails and i am looking at getting a pair

They are fantastic, I enjoy them (although I’ve only had a day and a half on them) But you should peep the roofbox review on them. I think [tag=105085]@Twig[/tag] skied them for 24 days of rail laps? and had no edge cracks.

Yep. I rode them all summer on rails and they held up really well. I've had good durability experiences with K2 generally too. Though FWIW I generally don't have huge edge crack issues because I detune the fuck out of my skis before hitting rails.

Aside from durability, I really think K2 nailed it with the Reckoner. Some skis just hit right and the Reckoner is one of those. I don't have a ton to add to the Roofbox review but happy to answer any questions.

How do they feel with swaps and spins on and off?

btw i appreciate everything you do with the roofbox reviews

Been riding rails on them all season. Surprisingly low weight makes them great for quick spins on or off. Durability is awesome, only have a couple of minor top sheet scratches at the tips. Definitely wouldn’t hesitate to pull the trigger

Honestly, they just feel normal for the width. I don't really notice a huge difference with swaps or spins out between skis of approximately same width/length/weight. I enjoyed them on rails, swingweight is on the lower side for a ski that width and I was happy doing 450s and swaps on 'em without thinking about the skis... but I'm not sure I could tell the difference between say a Reckoner 102 and a Blend, or even a Bentchetler 100 for those sort of tricks. They are pretty nice for surface swaps though.

Damn my edge cracked after 3 days of rail laps
