RECEPTOR BUG

yo NS.. For those of you who wear their receptor bug with goggles/beanie underneath i have a question. Do you take all of your pads out and cover the velcro or what? how do you find it fits? thanks.

Had a really similar argument like this with a concerned parent way back when.

Would they really make something important to personal safety easily removable?

pads....you dont need no stinkin pads! the beanie will provide the same amount of cushion if not more then the pads. Having said that i only removed the one on top

I rock beanie under and took out the front and top pads and flipped the side pads (L to R, R to L). Just pulled off the black layer on the spare pads and covered the exposed velcro with those. I really wish POC would sell it with different sized pads for customization. Whats the point of having 2 sets that are the same? It should come full sized pads in the helmet, with half sized and single layer as an accessory.

i love my tj pro and i ride them how he's designed. i usually don't take out anything except for the earpads on really warm days. i wear my crows underneath and it fits perfect. i bought the helmet to fit my head without a beanie but if i take the pads out i can wear one underneath. it only sucks that the beanie sticks to the helmet :D

Do like I did. Take your extra set of pads and separate them. There should be a black layer, then foam, then gray layer. Just peel the black layer off and use that to cover the velcro. Like I said though, I REALLY wish POC would throw in half sized and single layer pads.
