anyone get them?

mines pretty gay, if i put my hand down after landing or anything my wrist cracks for ages, this has happened since i broke my wrist but dont know what to do, do i leave it or what?

Not sure if this is a reccuring injury but eversince i lived in Switzerland for a year and skiid every day i have horrible shin bang.

I pulled a muscle in the back of my leg doing back flips (not on skis, just random backflips on that ground and off stuff : Claim)

And, after a while I think it would be better then I'd pull it again doing something stupid, it sucked. That went on for like a year. It's all good now.

it's not really an injury but a couple ofs easons back i overshot the landing and hurt my thumb pretty bad. it still clicks when i bend it, but it doesn't hurt.

I used to hurt my thumbs over and over and over again every day I went skiing.

I would drive up to the mountain, take two warm up runs, practice my 360s and on the fouth or fifth one I would fall, land on my thumb and it would kill for the rest of the day and I would have to take it easy. i had no fun, and I couldn't progress.

So I went to my local medical store, bought these cheap thumb splints, put them under my gloves and I have yet to have a thumb problem skiing. Since then I have been able to push harder, have more fun and do more tricks.

You should really talk to an orthopedic surgeon. But I know they make gloves that have wrist guards built in. I would highly suggest you order a pair and see how it works. I know getboards has them. Lemme get you the link:

best of luck

i broke my wrist 2 years ago and if i hardly put it down on a fall it will hurt for weeks. and when i was a little kid i was running down the stairs i tripped and sprained my ankle real bad and now if i role it the slightest bit i can hardly walk. and my hip is fucked dont know whats wrong

My wrist cracks alot and i my arm hurts where it had a crack once. Also my hip is really bad. I smashed into a rail 5 years ago and it hurt sometimes when imove it in the wrong way

Seperated AC joint in which the doc said there wouldnt be a reoccuring problem but I still tweak it now and then, resulting in serious pain.

shin splints, from hard landings, and my old boots would press my shins hard and literally crack the bone little by little with every landing, but i have gel padding in this years boots :)

i am pretty sure i have the same problem... what kind of boots do you have now? is the gel padding custom? have you skied in the boots yet? --- this injury sucks and i just want to get rid of it! :)

I used to have that shit it goes away after a couple seasons but it hurts sooooooooo effin bad especially when it pops out when you barely even do anything

i wonder if i had the same problem last year. i had shin bang incredibly bad, and now my shins feel bumpy everywhere. like there's little tiny holes or parts missing or something. is that what yours are like?

surgery.

my buddy had the same thing, like to the point where if you pushed him in that shoulder, it popped out. it was ridiculous. on a normal day of skiing, he dislocated his shoulder 7 or 8 times...got surgery and fixed it.

i have a back problem with a muscle on the lower right side..i did a 5 and my body kept rotating and never pulled out of my bindings and since then i have back issues..kinda blows..it comes back every now and again 2 years later..sucks cuz i can barely walk at some points.

yea, i have the same problem.... When i broke my leg and got my cast off... like once a week i would pull a muscle and it would hurt the whole day, come to think of it, it still does it.... It's been six months and it WON'T GO AWAY!! it better not affect my skiing

I get bad skier's thumb and it never goes away during the season, it gets so bad i can't hold my pole and shin bang all you can do is ice it

skiier's thumb is an injury ive had a couple times since the first time i had it happened

fucking hurts so bad, im going to rock poleless more this season to prevent injuries and broken poles. :]

I got a compression fracture back in two vertebrae in 05 learning front flips in the backcountry, caught an edge on the lip and dove straight into the heavy pow, scorpioned, blah blah blah, anyways , whenever i land a little weird i manage to tweak it and it makes walking aliving hell since i look like an old fart leaning forward grabbing my back holding onto things just to get around.

in the last 3 seasons, every time i fell onto my left side i broke my thum. this season, every time i fell and whiped my neck i tore nerves and muscles

idid 6 months 3 times a week of PT, it helped alot, but it still happens sometimes....but it did make me find out what i wanna do with my life, im now a bio/pre physical therapy major.
