Reasons to park rats are better than racers

racing is just a bunch of rich spoiled brats who think they own the mountain. park rats at least know to keep to themselves.
 
Why are park rats being compared to racers?

Everybody has something they love man, and many talented skiers have a background in racing.

I don’t get the need for hate when love could be spread

I don’t ever see any park rats ruining race courses, but I do see a hell of a lot of racers ruining lips and stopping our tow ropes.

1 time a big ass crew of park rats all scraped sideways on a race course and made a massive fuckin lip on 1 of the gates lmfaoooo, the racers were getting tossed bro, shit was fucked.

Depends on racing. Kids that go to the mountain schools and pay an average persons net worth in tuition can go fuck themselves. Same can be said for free ski academy. Bunch of robots.

I did it one year when I only had my Kartels. Every evening after a run or two someone would take pity on me and lend their skis.
 
I did a race on my homemade ski blades. I think I'm quitting park skiing and gonna try and create ski blade racing. It’s way cooler

my local won’t let anyone not on the team anywhere near their precious course, but they get to flatten out every lip in the park? don’t make no sense
 
Your sport should be derby race with full contact. I would for sure watch that, just no skin tight suits please

one time I witnessed a bunch of racer kids going through the park, and one of the jumps got rounded off so bad the takeoff ended up becoming almost completely flat with the knuckle. On top of that, poor park crew's lips on to rails were just being absolutely smoked by the same kids.

Racers most likely pay extra money for the course space, park skiers don't pay extra money for the park. Imagine having to be on a park team to use the park, screw that. As long as you don't have a shitty park crew the damage they do shouldn't be that bad.

That’s a good idea! Kinda like the Red Bull ice skating races. Maybe I’ll add drops and spikes too

i didn’t consider this. still, some strange part of me wants a pair of fresh edges and gate-basher poles so i can run the course for a run or two

Beer league racing is where its at.
 
My brother and I raced a team couple years back and smoked all of them. They doing their nice little G turns taking up the whole trail, while we are hotdog B-lining pointing them thangs downhill on the tree line. We are not the same
 
They can both be fucks, i find racers are usually more clueless though. Like clueless to the fact that park skiing is more difficult and challenging. Or they just are butthurt cuz they can't do it
