Reasons=Seasons?

So after watching both of these movies in series, i have discovered that both are very similar in the sense of what they are about and the overall feel of the movie itsself. i think PBP did a great job in mimicking the collective in this way. did any one else notice how these movies are alike for their respective sports?

Anyways I don't find pbp and the collective similar at all. Jamie and Darcy are kind of quieter types and I could not see them chugging from a shoe. The Collective and Roam were nothing like War, Ski Porn, or Yeah Dude. pbp seems like it's fit tons of shots into the movie and have some filler. Collective is more chill and all about the riding.

My opinion but I have not seen reasons.

Anyhow Seasons is amazing...haven't seen Reasons yet though.
 
its easy, seasons came out in the spring and reasons came out like... nowish.

i dont know, i know how the collective feels in all their movies as i've watched them hundreds of times, but the ski movie just felt really similar because its from the riders perspectives and its just not shot after shot of park or bc mayhem. one of the parts that seemed super alike is the final part of seasons when all the riders are just chillin and riding together, i see that kind of vibe in the JP and chris benchetler part of reasons and in the sammy/jossi/simon bc booter section.
 
yeah, i can see some similarities, but i doubt PBP is even trying to emulate Seasons, it's probably just a coincidence.
 
I've been away from home for the last couple of months, but I know that my shirt and copy of seasons have arrived, and that Reasons should be there shortly... I'm so fucking stoked!
Roam is quite possibly the best sports movie (and one of my favorite movies ever) of all time! It completely captures all that is not only the sport of biking, but the idea of pursuing something that one loves to all of ones abilities. I love it, as it is how I try to live my life. I hope Seasons does the same thing.
 
just because you dont bike doesnt mean you cant watch movies, i watch snowboard movies and i ski..
 
yeah, i'll agree with you on their other movies being super different, but reasons has a really chill vibe. and you never know about bikers man, i've partied with a few who would normally seem super chill and it has been some of the most outta hand times of my life.
 
I'll admit that reasons and Seasons do seem similar( I've only ever seen the trailer for seasons), but reasons is based on the style developed for The Windsurfing Movie, not on The Collective. An additional fact we announced what kind of movie reasons would be when we put out the first trailer in February, long before seasons was released.
