i was just thinking about teen drinking, and i know alot of people drink to have fun which i dont care about, but do you think it right to drink just because everyone else is drinking?

And also do think it is wierd to hang out with your friends when there drunk and your not? because i dont, but i knoe some people who do.

No, they pound that shit into your mind in dare that people drink and smoke because they think that it will make them cool. That is not the case. People drink to have fun. One of my friends that hangs with us all the time doesnt drink or smoke or anything like that. And we are all totally cool with it. No one really cares what you do. If you like it, do it, if you dont like it, dont do it.

i think it's fun. I get hurt all the time and I don't feel it cuz I go numb. And I guess it kinda bothers me to be around a bunch of drunk ppl. Mostly they are irritating, and I want to not be bothered by it, so I drink. It's the dumbass kids that go around and are like 'man i was soooo wasted at the football game dude did you see me?' 'No? well dude i'll go next time drunk too cuz it makes me look cool' Yeah that was what the kids(mostly freshman) at my high school were like.

i only do it cuz my friends do it. i hate drinking but if i want to fit into highschool i have to do it. you know ill never make it anywhere in life if i dont fuck it up now and be the cool kid in high school. damn

I think people just drink so they can do really stupid shit and when people ask them 'why the hell would you do that?' they can say 'I was drunk'. It's also an easy way to hook up with a chick because when she's wasted she doesn't know who she's sleeping with.

i just hate whem my friends try to fake drunk or high. i dont do any of that just because i dont want to and im in sports all year round. i really havent found any reason to do them yet.

some people do this shit to look cool its just the way tis gonna be. my friend hits a onie and says hes done for the night and he is high as fuck. that shit is gay man

 
let me help answer that question. why you ask, well im drunk thats why. Ive acually done a little research on the topic and i wrote a small paper on the topic a few years ago, let me see what i can remember. Drinking is a social activity and should always be kept and that and if its not then it developes into an alcholoism problem. I beleave it was something like 78% or higher teens that drink. so you have to come to the conclusion that its normal for a person to drink. and basically its been proven that if you want to be a normal person and fit in with the rest of the kids then its custom that you drink. By no means do you have to drink but speaking by statistics its just normal for a teenager to drink. its fun, relaxing, enjoyable and a huge social aspect of my life. i like the feeling but by no means is it controling or anything. look at your parents, at this age they were drinking too, it wasnt a big concern back then but today the drinking age is 21 so its a big issue. i personaly think it shouldnt be an issue unless you make it one. so you just need to be responsible about it and drink in a safe enviorment dont drink and drive and just have fun.

 
Most of the guys I know drink and use it an excuse for finding a ugly ass fat chick passed out in our bathroom, or getting sucked off by a tranny in Tijuana the night before( although I still don't know why they said that) Personally I drink to relax, since I'm in the military I can't smoke the herb anymore, well I can but I don't like the consequences. And sometimes just to socialize. I leave the drink to get wasted shit to the guys next door.

Don't drink to fit in. And don't think drinking isnt seriouse, many people have trouble with it. Do it if you want to try it but over all its not a good idea if you can have fun without it.
