going to be SOOOOO sick. not missing that!!!

PLUS the DOS Media premier is the 11th and not going to miss that! not a chance!

But all in allSad to say, but this event was pretty lame. Poorly put on IMO. Lakeside was such a shitty place to have it. So much background noise from the bar you could not hear shit. WAY to many annoying people, amazing the lack of respect and morals some people have these days(from skiers no less, so sad). They had tech problems that messed up the whole show. Stupids ass hot dog contest(should have been before the movies). They started late, after 8:30. just sad to see.

I do have to give a hat off to the announcer, he was legit. Got the show going well. Lots of give-a-ways was sick(the greedy few ruin it though). Good auction for a good cause was sick. Sick sponsor support(yeah boreal, who ever got the opening day passes has to be stoked).

But when it comes time for movie season next year, I probably wont be attending red dawn.

CJ -

Sorry you didn't have a good time. I agree with most of your frustrations and appreciate you taking some time to let us know what should improve on.

If you're interested, I like to offer you an opportunity to help us out next year. This was our fifth fiesta event since '94 and are always looking for more prople that want to help out. From putting up posters to getting involved with the overall running of the event, (site options, movie choices, contests, sponsor partners, volume adjustments, etc), all support/input is appreciated.

It's not a paid position, (we lose money) but are pretty psyched to walk away with a few hundred dollars for charity.

PM me if your interested in getting together.

Hey... Matt? if i remember correct, its Kris from grass valley. haha.

I deff liked the event, although Hunting Yeti, was pretty disappointing. You guys still beat the premier of Claim though. Alot more fun, better sponsors, swag, and everything.

I'll definitely be coming back for more next year if im still in the area, this time on an empty stomach.

oh, btw, know of any shows or anything going down after the Rail Jam at boreal? (why not make the 1hr drive more worth it)

peace

I'm probably thinking of the wrong one because it says Tahoe City. Is that the Safeway in Kings Beach? Just thought I'd comment about it and say it's always way too fucking crowded.
