Reapairing skis

ok, so the core of my troublemaker broker in half, but the topsheet and base is still intact. what do you think would happen if i cut out all the broken pieces and replaced it with some thin plywood. i was gonna just slather some epoxy on it and stick it in there, then p-tex the sidewalls. their only jib/rock skis so they wont be used at any mountain. i would just buy someone's beat up skis but i kinda ran low on money.
 
If the core is broken i don't think that there much you can do, but i that would had happend to me, i had tried to fix it just for fun.. maybe you can repair the core dont think its easy..

Your skis are done if the core is cracked try to warranty that shit you need new ski BRA!
 
where did the core break cause if its underfoot youre pretty much screwed but if it broke somewhere else you might be able to fix it
 
well basically there is no core from the front binding to the back binding. they wouldnt even work for jibbing?
 
team up with someone else in your situation and make one good pair of jib skis for one of you. There are a lot out there, single skis will be sold on ebay eventually.
 
Whats there to loose?

your time at least 2 hours worth for something thats going to fall apart in 10 min throw it away keep the bindings and move on you cant save everything!
 
First off, your ski is finished if the core is broken. Second, thats the worst idea II've ever heard to fix it with plywood. Plywood would break the after the first turn you take. You'd want something with the grain still intact, and even then, it'd be super sketch.
 
haha, no way, but i have some skis in the smae boat,

i just might have to make the most ghetto skis ever created.
