REALTIME VS YEAH DUDE

well im bored so i will answer, i would say Realtime, i didnt like the feel of yeah dude as much as other PBP movies
 
for me its a tossup, two totally different movies, different styles, formats, and skiers

its like comparing "apples and oranges",

another sick movie by the way:)
 
REALTIME hands down.

Yeah Dude really sucked, Sammy Carlsons part is the only truely impressive segment.
 
I really liked Yeah Dude, I've only seen a little bit of Realtime and it was rails, rails, rails. However, the BC in the part that I saw was sick,There was some of that in Yeah Dude also...but I really liked the parts with JP, Julian, and Anthony. John Symms and Chris Benchetler's seggys were steezalicious, two of my favorite of all time.
 
Realtime, no question.

Although, when I saw Yeah Dude at Evo, they started giving stuff away while the movie was playing, so it was a bit hard to watch while people were all standing up to try and get a car stereo.
 
not true at all...

no big mountain in his segment, it wasn't well rounded at all. Park, park, and more park. Jump, jump, rail rail rail, jump, rail, two rails in a row, jump jump jump. Great filming, it was entertaining, but I got bored halfway through.
 
for both of them. not denying that they were sick seggys...but I'd prefer something like john symms or the JP segments, which had a bit of everything.
 
valid points, i agree. (I never got bored though)

for me it is still my favorite segment,(from this year) just because every time i watch it i want to ski so freaking bad.......
 
Real Time for sure. Yeah Dude was too long and unstructured for me. Also, I don't think any other film makers are able to capture the pure stoke and fun of being out skiing with your friends the way Level 1 does.
 
get them both and support the industry. you ll have a good time on both.

just not the same style at all.
 
they are both really sick and this pains me to say, but Poor Boyz really pulled it together this year, Yeah Dude was wayy better than the previous 3 movies.

REAL TIME would have won it for me if it wasn't for the extremely crappy music selection. Where did the hip-hop Level1 always used go? They must have run out of Canadian rappers up there.
 
like many have said two equally sick movies. but i think yeah dude deff takes it my mind. poor boys made one of their top 3 sickest films. it was mad good!!!!!!!!!! original. good editing. and crazy progression. christian sirianni flat road gap was off the hook!!!!!!!!!!! andreas had a crazy seg with an ill road gap session. this movie never got boring, alot of original good vibes footage of the sport being pushed.
 
Both are great, like stated, and although Andreas killed it in Yeah Dude, I liked Realtime better overall. I really liked the music choices and the flow to the movie, and in my mind it gelled really well

+1 for Realtime
 
Not even comparable - Realtime owns, Yeah dude really sucked ass. But Believe, Idea, and 7SD own them both
 
seven sunny days beats both of them.. yeah dude and realtime got boring at parts, but 7 sunny days kept me watching the whole time

Yeah Dude was easily the worst ski film I have seen this season... PBP fell off
Its like someone needs to tell them less is more.
that shovel jibbing session was the most useless AIDS piece of doom ever and the soundtrack made me want to leap off a cliff

Level 1 capture the spirit of shredding so well, incredible soundtrack, cinematography and unique rider style

I used my copy of yeah dude as a target for my air rifle- what a waste of sick riders and a huge budget
 
i dont know what your talking about^ Yeah dude is def. my favorite ski vid, i loved the editing. and their jjust trying to get creative with stuff like the shovel jibbing
 
Well they are park skiers, so naturally they would be IN the park. How do you expect to ski bc half the time and then win x games slope...you dont.
 
it might just be the soundtrack that pushed it over from bad to horrendous in my books,

i've been living over here for 5 months and i can't handle that thugged out shitty hip hop of doom,
when level 1 use hip hop its always a classic choice and that indie/electro stuff floats my boat big time
 
ah yea im with you there man, i guess its just easiest to make a skiing part fit or flow with a rap song. But u gotta love sammys part/song
 
realtime is my absolute favorite movie. ever... they had so much sick urban + bc jumps +park shoot footage....

it would have been unfreakingbelivable if it were mixed with belive type shots aswell.
