its not an attempt to "show anybody up" by saying repost, its usually done so that everyone who clicks on the new thread and sees the link will instead post in the old thread to keep the conversation consolidated. In this case it didn't really happen in, but there was a discussion on this a while ago. Tthe verdict was, if you're going to say "repost" post a link or fuck off. just saying repost is worse in my opinion

well someone needs to tell the fuckign OP where the other thread is so they can take a look at what they missed. i know this was a pretty insignificant thread to do it in but if i can get to one before its corrupted with like 17 postwhores trying to get their post count up by yelling repost in the thread instead of just letting it fucking die, i'll do it. i just wanna start something thats a little more helpful than just typing "repost" in someones thread.
