Really bad ski fall

ok so for spring break last year my friends juri, caleb or "lineskier1709" went to park city. we were going through the park and caleb said that he was going to go big on one of the 50 ft jumps. So caleb went first and then i did and then juri. caleb miss judged his speed and ended up just over shooting this huge 50ft and landing right on the flats. His skis immediaty came off and he slammed face first into the icy snow. He was laying there knocked out for like 5 minutes. When he finally woke up he had amnesia and coundnt rember where he was, his parents name, what he was doing skiing. he kept asking us the same questions like 5 times like "what are we doing here" and "what time it was" . it was so freakin funny. After about an hour he finally started to remember stuff. All in all it was a pretty good day.

holy shit...ur laughing at him while he almost died...i probably would've done the exact same thing--funny shit
 
well like after like 2 minuteshe fell we called my dad who is a doctor and he said that he would be fine he just took a bad ass fall
 
when he put thats not me it means that when he was asking all these questions we told him that he had just been knocked out for 5 min and his face was bleeding. so we took a picture of him and then showed it to him and he stared at it for liek 30 sec and then gave me back the cammera and said "thats not me" it was priceless
 
a few years ago i got knocked out cause this snowboarder came over a ridge flying and just completely crushed me. i flew parallel in the air limp. i woke up like half a minute later and the first thing i saw was my friend standing over me pointing and laughing his ass off. and im like "where are my skis?" "oh, why are all they all the way over there?" haha my skis double ejected and flew really far away. the snowboarder acted really apologetic but i knew it was somewhat my fault so i told im it was fine. i shouldn't have been chillinin right over the ridge. then i got a really bad headache.
 
this was at the end of last season but it was pretty nice considering the very small amount of snow they had..it was a blast
 
no he didnt get a concussion and he didnt go to the doctor....maybe thats y he is so screwed up now.. j/k 
 
That is 100% a concussion and your first step should have been to take him to ski patrol if not calling for ski patrol. People like that aren't right in the head and need to be checked out for brain swelling and the such. calling a parent that is a doctor doesn't solve the need for someone to actually check him out and send him on his way. you're lucky he didn't hit a little harder or in a different spot on his head. He could actually have been screwed up and laughing at it would have been just grand for his friends to do.
 
k well he was really wasnt knocked out he was just laying on the snow not taking to anyone and makng a wierd noise so it wasnt a conncussion it was just wierd
 
so basically you just lied to everybody to make your story better. and im pretty sure he still could have had a concusion, esspecially if he forgot shit for an hour.
 
Yeah it's cool to laugh at him if he takes a bad fall and doesn't have any noticeable compound fractures or anything. But if he's forgetting names, and repeatedly asking stuff, I'd get him checked out at least.

yes i was fucking knocked out or else i would be able to remember laying on the ground for five minutes doing absolutely nothing..i stood up as soon as i was awake 
 
I promise you that was a concussion. same thing happened to a friend of mine. dropped pretty much 30 ft to flat resulting in his face meeting his knees, and the hard pack he landed on. this was followed by him not moving for a few seconds, then waking up screaming, then asking over and over again, "who are you? why are we here? where are we? is anyone else with us? why am I with you? what happened?" yeah, ski patrol took him down in a sled, and then he went to the hospital. He still really doesn't remember what happened, and it has been years.

Our conversation with the ski patrol was priceless though.

Ski patroller "whats your name?"

Me, "Jesse"

Ski patroller, "and his name?''

Me, "Jesse''

Ski patroller, "NO, his name!!!"

Me, "Jesse!"

Ski Patroller, "so...... um, you are both Jesse?"

Me, "there you go!"
 
def. a concussion... because well... that's what happens. next time get someone to check him out, it's nothing to mess around with.
 
i pwned myself pretty bad a few years ago. ended with most the skin on my right side of my face scraped off and a gash under my eye where my goggles pierced into my skin hard enough for me to need to get 6 stitches from it. concussion. black out for a while.
 
my brother got a concussion from the same sort of thing he just ran around the lodge yelling WHERE THE FUCK AM I, WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU, IS THIS MY JACKET OR DID I STEAL IT. then the patrollers didnt think he was hurt but on drugs
