Haha my homie rode a pair for like 2 years and they were legit a hazard to his health for over 1.5 of that. I realize it's an old ski but I remember them being pretty popular back in the day

Yeah I also remember them being popular back in the day. An interesting idea for ski construction but I don't think it turned out very well

Man I forgot about those. If I remember correctly it was like literally 7 layers of maple on top of a base and edges with no sidewalls, tip fill, or topsheet. Built like a skate deck, which aren't really known for durability anyways, especially in the wet. What a wild ski.

Yeah exactly lol, wood and water arnt homies. And you can treat wood all you want but at the end of the dayz unless it's sealed into a ski like it traditionally is, the water is going to find a way. Super interesting concept for a budget ski though, lot of people learned a lot of tricks on it that's for sure
