Real Skifi - Hate it or Love it. What's your opinion ?

I liked Joey's part in Mutiny, even though I figured I could probably do everything he did, because it seemed like he was always stoked on skiing. Calling someone a faggot because they ski differently than you, definitely does not represent stoke for skiing. Before this thread I figured everyone loved Real SkiFi, I've always been one to obsess over the big baggy clothing and steeze (a la BnE) but the ridiculousness of Real SkiFi's creativity has always blown my mind. And as far as snowboarding goes, snowboarding can hate on us because we're a step behind in terms of creativity and progression, Real SkiFi defines creativity and progression and is certainly no reason why snowboarders hate us.
 
Real Skifi brings an entire different angle to the sport of skiing. instead of people just hucking doubles off the biggest jump they can find they create and imagine a new way to ski. In my opinion they are some of the most technically sound skiers because they are so versatile. Real Skifi is the shit.
 
i love style so id much rather watch other videos but ever now and then getting your mind blown is okay. Its like watching Wallisch. He doesn't have the sick style that he used to, but he still blows minds with what he can do on rails and how easy he lands jumps. But they are having fun and having fun is the whole point of putting skis on so i hope they keep doing what they doing.
 
i dont know since when this sport has somuch hate on others?

i tought we wear one big fam tight or baggy? urban or pipe park or powder ... but i feel sad that nowadays there is only hate ... looks like the same shit is cooming in freeskiing like it is already in the racing sport

Always loved their videos, thought they were different and weird but nonetheless always entertained. The parody was hilarious and who cares about a "gay slur" toughen up.

 
Love it. I think that their skiing is cool for the most part. However, my favorite part of real SkiFi is in Ep. 9 when they break a handrail and say "Obviously we had to fix it." And proceed to buy wood and stuff to build a new rail. That is awesome. Of course then they proceed to throw down some crazy stuff on it. Ski and Destroy? I get it. It's fun, its steezy. It's just great that these guys aren't above being helpful.
 
Thank you! This thread has turned into a shitting ground for Joey. I love skifi, but the point of this thread was not to diss on some am.
 
I apologized for calling real skifi dudes fags in that conversation, people like taking shit out of context!!! I didn't mean for it to start a personal disrespect battle, it was just my opinion that some of the stuff they do is wack ( just used the wrong words after a few drinks).Those dudes are probably nice guys ( and not actually homosexuals) I just have an opinion! Everyone needs to mellow out and act their age on this site. And if anyone wants to have personal conversation about this you know where to find me! Check yo upper lip on the Internet kids, this is real life and it's a small world! And it's just skiing guys!

I'm just going to say that what they were doing in that video could've made a good joke (the tricks were still fucked though). But honestly (and I'm NOT just saying this because they ski and so do I) the video was just executed so horribly. It was just annoying and terrible.
 
Haha I could honestly care less about "public respect" It's cliche but skiing is about doing what you love with no limits. Ski fi doesn't give a damn about people who are insanely conserned about fashion and not the skiing. If skiing because laughable so be it. I sure as hell wouldn't stop skiing if it did
