last year phil dropped because of his acl but i know that he and brady were pretty burnt out on the x mode pressure as well at that point and weren't feeling quite as gassed as the prior two years

I'm convinced they stopped that solely because Sammy was probably gonna keep winning every year. Despite the lack of parity it was still great

Real ski's a pretty huge commitment, and after a couple years doing it I can totally see how just filming and doing things your own way would be more enjoyable. Both ways we all benefit from being able to watch some sick skiing.

you should listen to ep.1 of the podcast, phil talks about all of that. long story shot , he did opt out

Yep! At least I know tanners part has all that in it with maybe the exception of big mtn

this one didn't age well. I mean I really enjoy the stuff he does in the bc, but the urban part is not what I expected from all the shots I saw on insta prior to the release...
