real outerwear that is waterproof

are there any companies that are making stuff that is really waterproof, like the 10000 mm range? real comanies like siver or helly hansen or something

GORETEX is waterproof. If it doesnt say its water PROOF, its prolly just water resistent.

Yeah, Helly Hansen is sick. I have the Santo jacket, it has Hellytech XP, so its really waterproof + it has a lot of other cool features. Just check their website www.hellyhansen.com Other 'real' outerwear companies would be The North Face, Arc'teryx, Marmot, Mountain Hardwear, etc.

 
Helly Hansen makes good shit.

Rossi makes some really nice jackets too (in the 20,000 range, as well as goretex)

My helly jacket is sick, but my pants weren't waterproof at all. Just a side note if you didn't know, don't wash your pants or jacket.

My Helly Hansen Pagano jacket is way sick and it has Helly Tech XP which is incredibly good waterproofing.
