Real life rocket man...holy shit

too bad he has to jump out of a plane to take off, might as well just stay on the plane and enjoy the in flight movie and some peanuts

its crazy to think that what was once "one day everyone will have jetpacks and flying cars" has now become just a couple of decades away

which is just a guess of mine, nowhere have i heard that in 20 years there will be flying cars and people so dont take that as a truth

ha, that looks like a ton of fun. still though, if he could take off and land without the parachute it would be so much cooler. More like a glider with a rocket so he can get himself back up when he wants.

kinda funny how they give him 1, nasa 0 too. I'm pretty certain nasa is more concerned with getting into space than gliding then using a rocket engine to go back up and prolong the fall. But nonetheless, still extremely cool.

ha i saw that on snl's weekend update and thought it was a joke. thats fuckin sick, i dont konw how the rockets dont burn his legs

This is just some jobs side project, how fucking cool is that eh?

I love seeing what the masses are capable of when we do what we have a passion for.

they need to put one of those little ironman generators that was in his chest to make that thing fly for so long.

man give him a break thats the first time its been done so theres obviously still a long way to go. that was sick could you imagine how sick that would feel

i was wondering the same thing. along with how does he control where he goes. the wings look like theyre fixed and un controllable.

fuckin awesome. must feel incredible, wired is a sick magazine. could he actually change altitude? climb? or was he slowly loosing altitude the whole time?

the future of tranportation right there. image at prom when everyone arrives in fancy limos and cars and you show up in this! that would be sick
