Real-attempt style videos

Raw footage of all attempts to get a trick are one of my favorite things to watch. Showing the real grit, passion and skill involved to get a clip. Anyone have any more videos like this? Post them up if you do!

Damn, Stept has had some great “behind the shot” kind of videos and I’m pretty sure there’s one for the MASSIVE dfd he does in either for lack of better or ten and two

and there was one online years ago of him doing that huge dub kink at Breck I think that was super gnarly (I think someone died on it at some point? And I think they removed it eventually)

but I can’t seem to find those good ones right now

I got 7 minutes into watching LJ's video and was frustrated as fuck for him lol. That's gotta be physically and mentally exhausting.

this thread has made me watch more skateboarding videos in the last week than skiing. Just been on a My War binge

This has become a HUGE thing in skateboarding the past few years. Most pro's release their "raw" footage a few weeks after the actual part drops and I agree its often more enjoyable than the part itself.

Also FYI - on his IG, Clayton Vila said he's working on a raw-file edit for his Mutiny part and I've never been more hyped for something in my entire life.

That is going to be savage. I would love to see Cam Riley as well. His would be crazy, he gets so frustrated and will throw his skis and flop in puddles and stuff.

He's been posting a lot of behind the scenes stuff and adding comments to it on the shots, I'm pumped to see what the edit is like

this is a little one i put out back in the day for an absurdly long and hard rail marc dandurand hit. safe to say about 80-100 tries are left out. the goal was more to show in a quick vid how getting shots wasnt that easy of a process

Wasn't there an awesome video showing the years of battling this rail at 1:34. Searched around but couldn't find it

Legendary. Marc Dandurand has always been one of my favorites, best lipslides in the game.

Much props to him too for keeping that hop-on so low.

Doesn't show nearly all the attempts, more of an edit style to showing the solo battle with this down C ledge. I hear it has skate stoppers and shit now, but not sure

Paul Couderc did something like this for his latest MTB edit (which was super slept on btw):

If you haven't seen the full edit go watch it here, some pretty nutty world's firsts
