All those dragging foot grinds are fucking gay, rollerblading is the fucking devil all you faggots from the east that rollerblade are fucked and you are the reason people hate on skiing.

All you fuckers that write all that shit about skiing being better than snowboarding you are fucked. There is not one instance in which this is prevenlent. Switch ups are fucking gay once again going back to rollerblading rollerblading is the most hated sport in the world.....why would you want to take anything from it or relate to it in anyway i just dont understand how people on this planet can be so fucking gay.

Dont even get me started on the one thing that is bringing this sport to its knees and started all this bullshit CHARLES GANIER. And another thing why do you all get something and over play the shit out of it. Truckdrivers were ok once upon a time but then every faggot rollerblader from the east coast was doing them off thier 10ft jumps and trying to do them off rails.

Fuck it i cant go on, skiing in general is FUCKING GAY...you've all ruined it for me and the others that used to enjoy it until all you terrible people came along. I know lots of people, people who you all idolise who dont go on here because upon reading all the gay shit you guys talk about start hating a sport that they love thats right this website alone has turned people who loved skiing into people who hate skiing...there is still hope and it lies with a select few and they know who they are....i can already guess the comments ill will get back from this

i agree with this kid... ns is killing skiing... i mean theres more threads about how sweet my one piece then threads about pow days... im not saying im excempt from the ns fucking of skiing. i had my part... i mean i was the kid who collected every fuckin sticker and cared bout what company i rode. and rep up that product... maybe whe we stop paying for the privlige of being a consumer whore bilboard... maybing skiing will become cool agian.. cause were way more whack than snowboarders..... and also.. east coast fruit boot goo shoe style is gay////// but 50 50 grinds arnt... soul grinds gay
 
im not that happy with the way skiing is going, but i like some of it, and rollerblading def has giving skiing a worse name thats all i read, its a pretty shitty rant
 
hoodratz wordwordword....just givin some gabber to all you, i used to love switch up n shit, i saw one footed grinds as progression n shit, i hated on snowboarding. then i came to realize that because of all that, skiing wasnt going anywhere, you have to admit snowboarding owns everything, they started the park shit, they started the bc, they started it all. go out and read tons of snowboard mags, watch tons of snowbaord movies. they are sick! everything about them is cool, they are killing it. they have at least 5 years on us in "progression". but everytime a level 1 movie or skimatic movie comes out we loose another 10 years behind them..not saying we should follow the snowboarders, but look where they are in the sport, you watch x games and you see them doing sick shit, revelant to skating, whcih is fuckin rad, then you get charles gagnier one footing a down rail infront of media, people see that and compare to rollerblading and then we are hated on. i guess skiing just wasnt made to do park, unless you are a rollerblader.
 
now everybody has to calm down it is not even the begining of the season. once the season hits there will be better things to discuss and ns will become what it should be.

But ya the gear talk could stop anyday now we all know how dope the saga shit is or how knarly the new oakley lime crowbars are so lets move and and make a change for the better.

 
Whoa dude, I don't get on here much... but when I get on and see this it pretty much just makes me wana puke. After all, skiing is like... not fruit booting. And besides that, don't you just love to ski?! If you don't just love to ski then the rest shouldn't matter. I am sick of kids wanting to get 'sponsored'. And I'm sick of people being sick of 'the state of the sport'. Just go out and ski, for christ sake...

i dont understand why people are so harsh on one footers and stuff. i mean i can understand if you dont like how they look, that is personal opinion. but to say the are not progressig the sport is bullshit. they take a lot of skill and even if rollerblading didnt exist you know that sooner or later they would make their way into skiing anyways.
 
i think that skiing right now is in a state of civil unrest. you have the trucker driver switchup kids, the uber big cross ur skis kids, the creative pollard kids and then you have the old guys who are milking it and trying there best to hang on for as long as they can. let the revolution happen, if you think a particular aspect of skiing that looks ugly just ignore it. its side that skiers like me who like flow, and slow uncrossed carved spins dont really get represented in the magazines but its all good because right now i dont give a shit about going big, whos on what team, or what clothes are trendy this season. its sad that people who read a freeskier might label me as that kinda of skier but im not trying to impress anyone. just ski how you feel skiing should feel and im sure along the way you find other like minded people
 
if people doing tricks over again, or if people like to play alittle on a rail ruined skiing for you, then id say your the most fucked up person i have ever heard of! how can that ruin skiing? it doesnt mean you have to do it? or that your skis will break next time you go skiing. you can still go ski and have fun doing tricks you like... you are a big looser! you dont even know what skiing is about fuckhead!

your an idiot. Siing had bypassed snowboarding in BC, Pipe, and on rails. Snowboarding is a little ahead of skiing in the air.

We go bigger in the B.C., ski way gnarlier lines.

We do way more on rails, onto rails, and off of rails.

We go bigger and do better tricks in the pipe.

snowboarders are indeed ahead of us in the air though, after I saw the Gap Session video... 4 guys throwing double corks and rediculous shit like that
 
so i guess hes saying we should all have no fun with skiing, always look out for whats cool (make sure nothing you do is gay)....and that means haveing a gorilla stance and just doing rails with "steeze" and dont do anything new on the rails.... its all about being cool
 
If something n the internet can make you hate skiing, you didn't love it in the first place.

That's the most important thing. All you have to do is ignore truckdrivers and one footed grinds. Personally, I love switch ups. You don't have to do them. Skiing is about freedom. Do your own thing and don't worry about anyone else. I can't believe that anoyone would hate skiing because of this website.

What about skiers like pollard, that try to ride like snowboarders, who is pushing the sport at the maximum???freestyle skiing isnt only one footed grinds on rails or switchups( by the way, snowboarders do switchs ups, too)it is about being creative, no matter how you are. charles gagnier is being creative on his side, by bringning sick grabs and trying new things on rail, and, Pollard and mahre, on thier side, takes a part of freestyle siing, by landing backwards in the pow, and by jiibing every natural things they can reach into the backcountry...i could name a lot of examples like those. And saying that sowboarders are way cooler and that the sport is going NOWHERE, have you forget that snowboarders and snowboard compagnies are respecting more and more skiing, as the sport reaches a point where us,skiers, are almost as popular as snowboarder, have almost the same way to live and share almost all the sames experiences as them, but having the only difference between us and them, the wooden pieces we have to our feet. Plus, having compagnies like anon, red and libtech sponsoring skiers, you think that now newschoolers are ruining the sport, even if snowboarders begins to respect us?

Dude, if youre saying that you hate the progression, you hate where the sport is going and you hate all that"faggots rollerblading trick" even if you probably cant do them and if you say that snowboarding is so cool, stop to ski, and go snowboard, we dont give a fuck. Stop to bother the people, if they want to do rollerblading triick, thell do them, and some of us can see that as the progression of the sport, so if youre not happy with that, fuck you.
