im ordering new skis in like an hours can someone tell me if they think 178 incaders are to long for a 5 foot 7 person?... cause i cant decide is i should go witht he 171 or 178 i think 178 cause i wont use them till winter and im still growin big step up from the 165s i had last year

either way it goes im still reppin for my coast man... welcome to the east coast
 
THE ONLY thing that should factor in to this decision is if you have growth left. If you are done growing, than 171 is the perfect. 67 inches (5'7) x 2.54 (cm to an inch) = 170cm. 178 if you are about to hit growth spurt. Your call in the end though, with what you are comfortable with.

personally i believe 178 will be to big for u at ur height, but if ur growing its another story

Yea dont listen to anyone if your 165s felt way to short go to 178s if they felt about right but needed a lil sumthin go 171 but honest ur not goin to feel a big diference either way!

whatev. pick em yurself. invaders are cool thouhg. heres what you do. take a 178 ski, stand next to it and if it is between your chin and your forehead you can buy it.

You will love them at 178...longer skis are so much more stable and nice.

Most people on this site will tell you to get the 171s because most people on this site ride tiny skis in the park all day. I will tell you to go with the 178s, as they will provide you with a stronger feel and overall a better ride in my opinion. I'm 5'7" and ride 177 Karmas and they are fine

 
haha, so true. as long as oyu have a drop of muscle, longer skis almost always feel better, whether n or out of the park, on rails or jumps. good choice with the 178s. and besides that, lines measure short.
