so normally i would never do this, but today i'm going to. as you may or may not know along with my film company i am also a realtor/consultant for coldwell banker in cincinnati oh. the reason i'm telling you guys is that last night a friend called me and informed me that he was in the 11th hour of purchasing his first home for him and his fiance. they got a realtor out of the yellowpages and went from there. what follows is a realty nightmare that is to depressing to type out. bottom line, my friend didn't know what to ask(as with most first time home buyers) and the realtor had no idea what he was doing the rest went down the toilet. i have always considered us a community on here and just want to inform everyone that if you or anyone you know are thinking of, or in the process of purchasing or selling a home. drop me a line and let me help you out. this isn't a sales plug, its just to prevent people getting shafted that don't deserve it.

drop me a pm or an email and i can give you all of the info you need. maxwellwhite@hotmail.com

thanks

yeah im 16 but yeah sounds a lot like a sales pitch and it makes you sounds kinda cocky. sorry

i know quite a bit on this same subject, my dad is a realitor, and bottom line is that you have to be a lot smarter than your friends were. you shouldnt just pick some random out of the yellow pages because there is such a great number of new agents in real estate. ask your friends who have bought a house, paretns who have bought a house, any one you know who has bought a house and find an agent that they were happy with. to just look up some random company or use the cheapest realitor is almost rediculous.

to everyone that thinks its a sales pitch... he wouldnt get any money for helping anyone except in ohio so hes acutally just trying to be a nice guy
