The reactors look like really nice bindings. They look like they will save your knees. Does anyone know much about themor has anyone skied on them? I think they are really though right?

 
there are so many threads abou this.... and everyone and their brother who hasn't ridden them will say they are heavy. I don't think they are heavy at all... and i'm pretty lanky. they are great bindings... but have them set correctly for you... otherwise they could blow up.

oh and they do save knees... my buddy chris blew his knee 2 seasons in a row... on looks.. then last season went with R12s and didn't even with weaker knees and crazy falls... if you don't trust me on how hard he charges.. watch gemini the jibij team video... peace.

reactors arent that heavy, just a little more than looks. they dont feel heavy when you ski em either. i like them, they do save your knees

well not shit., of course they are halting production of those crappy little things. last year i bought a pair with my chronics, two weeks and the two piece just snapped of. since i had no money to buy a nice pair of bindings( scratch 100 or120) i sent them in and got a knew pair. these lasted most of the season till they broke when i was on a rail. so i got a nother pair(since i had no money). i went up to whistler during the summer on these ones , which was a very bad idea. the first day at camp and i broke em.

bottem line. buy line skis not line bindings.

 
NOOOOOOOOOOO stay away from the line binding they break thay are not stable and your knees are not anysafer than if u were on a salomon or atomic binding they are really heavy as well.

 
it was discontinued because it was deamed unsafe and the reason ur buddy blew his knees on look is because look sucks and has they highest incidents of injurie falls of all bindings the reason the lines worked for him is that they are weak

Please, provide some proof. Trash like you is how rumors get started. So you don't like the binding, that's nice, they can't please everyone. But don't start making shit up that isn't at all true. You are a LIAR!

 
look sucks? i don't know where you're getting your info my friend but look bindings have been the safest bindings out for several years! i won't comment on the new stuff because i just don't know enough about them.

My first pair of reactors broke, but my second pair held up. I would suggest them, They have such a great warranty.

A good pickup line is

Ha... Seems most of my posts here are regarding line bindings.

I have triple digit days on my R12s for last season. I am a big guy and I never had any problems with them.

They are a bit heavy, but it is all under foot so you do not really notice it except when carrying your skis.

I really like the fact that I had three pairs of skis and one set of bindings.

They have my approval :)

with the amount of money they were paying on warranty and the Research and design they were having to do to better the binding the price they were selling them at $249, weren't coming close to the approx $500 that was going into each binding.

They may come back in the future but they don't want the binding venture to put them out of business at this time.

 
ok all of you who say line is discontinueing the reactor binding are wrong. i work at a shop that carries line and not only are they continueing production of the reactor theyre also making a team series which i beleive might be slightly stronger and is painted camo. yeah all of you lose

^actually you lose. The team binding was never made...

and I really hope you all are wrong about it being discontinued... I like reactors.

^true that. Since there are about only 4 people in the country qualified to set them... I think a lot of kids had theirs set wrong... thus leading to their demise.
