ok i just bought them and it seems they didnt come with any adjustment specs does anyone have info on this. and i put the brakes on and they rub on the edges a little, i didnt know you needed the wide brake for the 1260's

.

what do you need to adjust? you do realize that having a shop do the din for you the 1st time, and having them release checked at the beginning of every season is basically mandatory?

why is it mandatory? i thought the main point of the binding was for easy mounting and adjustment. i figured something like adjustment specs as to what setting front and back i would need for different boot sizes would come with them.

.

what do you have to do to adjust them to your boots just stick them in, lock them down, and adjust the din?

.

dude...get to a shop seriously...your gonna cause yourself serious injury

the whole point of the line binding is to be able to switch it from ski to ski, not to be able to mount it yourself. you are gonna get yourself really injured if you try to fit it to your boot yourself. shops know how to set it, where to set it, and will test it.

i work at my local shop and the reactors are nice. they're heavy but i love them. i haven't heard anything about any recalls either.

Can anybody give me some more info about this recall? I have the Reactors but think they work good. Should I still send them back? Can the the shop say no if I already used the bindings for several days?

i dont think its true just go to there web site and see they would tell you if they where having a recall (wich they are not)

There is no recall. And once the binding is set by a shop, then you can transfer it from ski to ski, but you can't adjust the settings.

i have ridden them for a couple weeks now and in all seriousness, don't waste your money. They hold u in fine, but so does a look p-12 or any other binding. They fuckin wiegh a ton and are a bitch to maintain. MIne are lose after every other day of riding, and even a dusting of snow on ur boots messes them up. After this season mine are going back, if they make it that long

dude, dont say stuff like that recall unless your sure of your facts. that stuff makes people freak

i will stop ragging on the reactors, i promise

fun things like picnicing??? ahaha thats like watching paint dry, sure picnicing would be fun if you invite 6 friends and you all bang the shit out of each other- lateralis

You know what's funny? When people bitch about the Reactors being heavy, and then say 'you might as well get a P12'. And what? Save yourself a few precious ounces? Have you ever actually put a set of P12s on a scale to compare to Reactors? C'mon, I expect a little better out of all of you.

Bahahaha... or, you could call it the 'elitist snob' cult. Anyways, my family already owns a country club, so no thanks.

i love my reactors. my only complaint is that the regular brakes are a bit too skinny for my chronics, but the wide brakes drag and sometimes when i land switch, the brake will catch and cause me to release and eat shit.

this is what u do . the firt time u mount them to the ski have the shop mount it and set them to your boot. then after that u can change between any cuz they fit your boot

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ change what u can change, what u cant change dont worry about it
in normal english, without the 'gangsta steez spelling'.
get the DIN and bootsole length of the binding adjusted by your dealer out of the box before you use the binding.
then, when you have more than one pair of line skis with the central hole pattern, you can move the binding from ski to ski, and the DIN and bootsole length do not need to be changed - these adjustments don't need to be adjusted to mount the binding on other skis.
