am i the only one who feels that if modern bindings were terribly dangerous to skiers, then the companies would attempt to fix them? binding companies are constantly spending money on research for better bindings, and now line is coming out saying that only their binding is truly safe.....wtf? sure the reactor looks cool, but its also heavier than lead....but this is not about bashing the reactor, WHY ARE OTHER BINDINGS SO DANGEROUS?

 
reactors are so fucken heavy and i'm anxious to see how many post we read about breaking them, line sucks and so will these bindings.

those are p12s in the videio, and reactor 12s, so it is compareable. i dont think my knee is that strong, its your choice. scopeing your knee costs a whole lot more than those bindings, so to me they are worth the extra change.

no but i know about 15 people over the last 3 years that have had torn ACL's/MCl's/LCL's and most of them from a fall that these bindings could have prevented. this is such a small nich in the market that major copanies have not had to address the problem as hard as a newschool based company.

are we all sure that all the settings are exactly the same on each binding? cuz i can make a p 12 release with a flick of the foot, but i can also make it hold thourhg a bombing raid

 
I suppose you want the 360 degree release or w/e, but those bindings are heavier than hell. If you have a low release binding, and are scared to rip somethin, just lower your din!!!!

the din is set at 5 on bouth, witch realy is a higher setting than 5 would be on the p12s.

heavy? complain about heavy with race bindings i have felt my mothership Ti's with the reactors and with my P14's and i know my P14's weigh more but i don't compalin. its not that much weight.

ive been told close to no specifics....why are the binds in one peice.....what specifically makes them superior sturcurally?

 
because the toe and heel peice work together, when the biding releases it actually pivots on the plate. that's why it's one piece. also because it uses a 4 hole mounting system, so you can switch tem between skis easyly.b no specs? there wern't specs in the video? there arn't specs on lines site?

 
the last place you want to find an unbiased opionion on specs is on the manufacurers site.....but what you just told me was accually what i wanted, it makes sense, but are teh p 12's really that evil?
