I think Stept deserves the Most Improved award and the Best Amateur Production coming out this year.. i cant wait for this movie!

To compare the two is stupid. Both are going for completely different feels and moods, and some appeal to people more than others. Bogart isnt going for a 'serious' feel to it at all like blueprints is.

both had good skiing, but really, the 'editing' in both was lacking. Blueprint was off time cuts to further into a shot, and it was super annoying. it's a cool effect when done right, but not when done wrong. Bogart was well cut, but the effects they used were not as good as they could've been.

Both had solid skiing though.

haha yes indeed. you people need to chill, people are like freaking out about both of these trailers, while yes, the skiing is super sick but alot of the editing/filming is really weaksauce.

I agree with melvs about the editing, the flash forward / shot switching was sort of hit or miss with effectiveness, but there were some nice shots in there. It exceeded my expectations considering how little hype there's been on here.

honestly, dont compare them guys.. bogart is upbeat and happy!.. not saying blueprints isnt but our movie is more of a chill and laid back kinda movie, both just good ol' east coast ski porn

all i gotta say is that for bogart you cant really over edit a happy trailer. you over edit it and itll look like like shit. but a laid back trailer like blueprints allows you to edit more and make it look good

i really think both a lot, and it's not fair to either group to say ones better or ones worse. Boggart was nasty, they had some great skiing, nice happy feel, and some guy nuting himself so hard i don't want to think about it. Blueprints was also nasty, sick editing, solid filming and sum redic urban.

props to Stept and IHNYP (no way i was going to write out i hate new york productions, it's just way too long...)
