Reaching out to my NE Washington homies

Was planning to go back to Bham for school and ride Baker, but it looks like I'm stuck in Spokane this winter. Tryna decide what mtn to get a season pass at but all the nearby resorts are equally mediocre ($420 for a pass at Mt Spo wtf?). I usually like park or rolling deep in inbounds pow. Anyone got input/want to meet up and ride this winter?

[tag=253238]@Thomasarivkin1[/tag] Has a North Idaho crew, I would hit him up.

Mt. Spokane is cool for what it is, $420 is a bit steep but thats just how things are now. Honestly, I would just pay the $30 for a night ticket if you want to mob up there after school, work etc.

Schweitzer is hands down the best resort in the area with Silver being a somewhat close second. Its kind of a long drive from Spokane but 95 is actually divided now. Schweitzer has a pretty good park and honesty some of the best terrain around. Their Stomping Grounds main park is really well built and its pass only so you dont have to worry about kids snaking you etc. You just have to take a quick quiz and pay $5 for the pass for a season.

Lakeside Chutes has a gnarly Big Mountain feel with tons of cliff band and rocks to huck. Pucci Chute and Siberia have some of the steepest and gnarliest trees you will find anywhere. Lakeview Triple has some sketchy steeps and gullies too. Their night skiing is actually really good with a lit park and some fun runs to bomb down. Just get some high vis goggles because its cloudy 99% of the winter.

Schweitzer has RV parking too so you can maybe get a group together and get a cheap camper setup or something. RV parking is awesome and its ski in / ski out. Everyone just chills and has campfires at night etc. The Village is pretty chill at night too and you can always poach the hotel pool and hot tub. There is a WalMart in Sandpoint and I think you can sleep in the parking lot if you need to but you will have to double check.

I grew up in Spokane and we had a cabin up at Schweitzer so I know the area pretty well. Spokane is a pretty cool area, there is not much to do for nightlife etc but if you know how to make your own fun its actually a pretty sweet area.

I’ve got a few guys who ski schweitzer, we have passes there. We hit mt. spokane quite a bit too, hit me up if you ever wanna ride!
