skip the big mountain crap? wow, you just nestled yourself into a nice little newschoolers cliche. most of the big mountain shots were amazing by the way, especially ingrid & abma's section which were really impressive.
look i understand the skill and bravery involved in bigmountain riding. i just think it all starts to look a little repetitive. most skiers cant afford to heli ski, so they cant relate.
i think they should show more rolling back country terrain with natural transfers and gaps. like in lame.
its all personal opinion. and remember its just skiing
repetitive? watch someone hit a table and do a corked spin over and over again, THATS repetitive. Having a solid mix of both makes a good movie, and msp does that very well.
^Yup. And you don't have to go heli skiing to ride big mountain. Pretty much ever mountain in the west has some good big mountain riding inbounds or in the BC.
I think rails in general are just a phase. - Anthony Boronowski
hike a mountain or something. you don't need to go on a heli to go big mountain. I know there isn't really mountains in the east that offer tons of deep powder and stuff, but still....it's awesome to see the craziness of the lines they attempt and stuff. watching someone in the park throw nothing but corks is extremely repetitive....watching someone rip apart a big mtn. face....always nice.
