if your looking for powder, cliffs, and woods why not just go to mad river, the only reason i go to sugarbush when i go to vt is to ski some park

no he's right sugarbush is a great mtn w/ a lot of woods and castlerock might be some of the best skiing in VT on a powder day, I dunno wht you talking about oging there for there park if I'm going to a mtn in VT for there park it's Stratton or Mt Snow

true^...but we have a good park for sure......and there is still alot of good woods and whatnot.....its def a compromise mtn tho....its got everything but none of it is topnotch

The stuff off Castlerock is cool. If you traverse to skiers left off the top of the castlerock chair you can find some sweet stuff on a powder day.

Is castlerock only open on powder days or for that castlerock challenge thing? Because i used to ski sugarbush a lot but it was never open. Ive only heard about it in myth form of sorts.

No, it is open whenever there is snow. There is no snowmaking on that part of the mountain, so it is only open when snow is abundant. On bad snow years it will be closed for a while.

well for awile they used to have alot of troble with the old double chair wich conastantly broke down finaly in the last year asc ownd the moutain about 3 years ago the put a new double in so now when ever theres snow its open, and sugarbush def has some of the sikest woods if u know where to go and the park is decent to

what happined to drugs, sex, & rock and roll...now adays we have aids crack and techno.......

yeah i has a pass there for a year, but i decided to not ski there all the time. sugarbush is def better than smuggs the lifts there are so slow they make we wanna kill myself
