Re: the review Line Ski Company

bad durability is the skier's fault? maybe only shitty skiers ski on line then; because line skis seem to break much more easily than others.

i think simmers better re-group. dont talk shit on the line team. and thats how it goes

i wasn't talking shit on the line team. they are not the ones breaking skis. it is all of the other shitty skiers breaking them. because, after all, pros do not break as many skis as the average skier. if you are not very good, you are more likely to fuck up your skis.

I bet it's pretty easy to be objective when you're sponsored by the company being discussed eh?

Simmers, what the hell are you talking about, pros don't break skis? Pros break more skis in a month than you do in a year, it's not that they are bad, it's just that they are going super huge, mistakes at that level break skis. And for the harping on ski manufacturers, I doubt that you ski hard enough to tell the difference between any ski, you are just going along with all the other posers saying that Line skis suck. Get back on your teneighty groms and come back with a real thread when you can ski.

He who waits, always wants.

the review of the line ski company said that pros do not break skis like other people do. read the fucking article. all i was doing was reiterating the article that this thread was meant to give props to. sorry.

Wow, when I posted that review I didn’t think anyone would of read it. Believe it or not (Jib_This) I do feel I am very objective, I go to the on snow demos every year and try out everyone elses skis. But the fact of the matter is, since I’ve been skiing Line ( 3 years) and for the past year skiing for Line, I have never ever broke a pair. I’ve never even had any problems with um, delaming or chunks or edges. Granted I get new pairs every year. But my point, and when I have talked to Jason L, he even said most of the Pro riders don’t have issues, or brake them as much as you would think. I think it does have a lot to do with the skiers ability, is not always the skis. So even if you skied Line a couple of years ago, there different now, better. I just can't stand people who havent skied them lately and still talk crap, or worse people who havent skied them at all.

BECAUSE SKIING NEEDS A FUTURE.

i do agree that lines can be durable, and are getting better. And i do agree with Simmers on his points. But when you look at line as a ski compainy, intentions bieng where they need to be,and wanting to take leed in New school skis, i think that their durability should be good enough to support the complete like of up and comers, and skiers that aren't sponsered that want to learn and are experiencing newschool skiing for the first time. Its one thing to say ur ski is durable from a pro's perspective, but its needs to be durable to anyone perspective.

And so i don't get anyone bitching at me, yes, i rode lines for 2 years, and besides edges, i had no major problems in my skis, besides some minor delam and then a snapped ski, only because of a binding change

line skis are NOT as durable as others, from what i have seen, and felt. i used to ride line, but then i realized that it was cheaper to get other skis than send a bent, or delamed pair back every 2 weeks. now that line skis cost as much as any other ski, i don't see where the progession is. i.e. lines have always been a little behind in durability, but the fact that they only cost 2/3 what other skis cost made up for that. i thought that it was cool. but, between this year and last year, line skis have not changed (except for the addition of the pollard model) in any way except for a 40 percent increase in price. so, i guess that they are the most 'price progressive' company in the industry. right?

whether or not pros have problems with durability on lines is irrelevant. pros are not the people buying skis. if the average person is having a durability problem with a ski, that is a problem that needs to be addressed, because the average person is the person who has to spend money on their skis.

haha did I just hear simmers say only shitty skiers ski line. quick question, are you calling pollard, skogen, nick, longe, and wilson shitty skiers?

life's a video game don't leave it on pause

wouldn't exist? I know u've probably read the Propaganda Page line story, but every compainy has their story. Plus. Twin tipped skis isn't rocket science. Somone who have eventually thought of it.

'Snowboards have 2 tips, why can skis? Boom, its invented. If like is the so called initiator of new school skiing, they need to step up, because there durability is crap, Period

try reading posts and everything related to them before you respond. i never said that the line team was not good. i said that, according to what everybody else says, the line team are the only good riders on line.

no you said skiers that break lines are the shitty skiers. i broke a pair of lines. so your saying im a shitty skier. hmmm....

sorry, craig coker, but so did the review of the line ski company that this thread is a response to. read it before you bash me, all right?

'Simmers, get back on your teneighty groms and come back with a real thread when you can ski'... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I really enjoyed that one. Yeah, last time I rode with Simmers he was on 1080's, but they were the ones with the black bases on them. I didn't think that they gave those to anyone but a couple of guys on the pro team....why the hell was he riding those instead of Lines?
