Re: the review Giro 9 w/ visor

Its pretty flexible, I doub't it would snap in a fall. Maybe it could crack around the screws that hold it in, maybe not. Don't know, haven't had it break yet.

A Giro visor? A Pro-Tec visor? Your last post made no sense.

only the flint is good, i have one for sale if you want to buy it. Better go for it because the 9 mxx will shatter into little pieces and if your not wearing goggles watch out for your eyes.

No way, it's flexable. I've fallen on my visor lots of times really hard, and it still hasn't broken. But I don't know about the newer one. The visor on that thing is pretty damn stiff.

does it scrw in to the shell or is a snap

If The women don't find you handsome... atleast they will find you handy

I had a McMassive crash the other day, and hit the visor as hard as you psoibly can and it didnt break. (Dont try and straight line through mogal fields)

Ive had the 9mx for a couple of seasons now and have had some pretty good crashes and never had a problem with the visor... both on my bike and on my skis.. same helmet, what can i say im cheap and lazy but I did snap off the lil snappy things in the back for the winter liner so its a lil draughter now in the winter!

I do whatever my rice crispies tell me too.

A blue whale ejeculates 40 gallons of sperm at a time and people wonder what jelly fish are?!!?

It's flexible and durable and if you somehow do find a way to break it (I havn't, and routinely nail my helmet... maybe its time for a new one) then you could jsut buy a new one and screw it on

'does it scrw in to the shell or is a snap':

-It screws in using three screws. One on each side of the helmet, roughly where your temples are, and one tucked under the visor in the center of the helmet. The visor has a piece attached under it the width of a screw, but about an inch long, that the screw goes through, allowing you to adjust the visor up and down on the helmet.
