ok, first thing i gotta say is - skiers arn't the only people in the park... and chances are - the majority of the people in charge (if not everyone in charge) of what music gets played are snowboarders...

I agree with you about the rap part of your opinion, but you obviously haven't listened to any good punk, as i have never heard any band of punk talk about cops stealing their weed and shit, i reccommend you listen to some LAGWAGON or NO FUN AT ALL or TEN FOOT POLE, and none of their songs talk about skateboards or weed at all.
its soo good, and if you can't understand the singing, if your normal you can, but if now read the lyrics inside the cover, their bloody good, you'll be surprised, i bet you won't even understand some of them,i don't. thats why i like it you have something to think about.
ok NOFX do sing a song called 'lets go smoke some pot' but thats all in good humour, the're not showoffs at all, they don't want thier music on radios, thats why people say punk is dead, when in fact they are just too controlled by pop.

HAHAHAHAH...man let me go buy some Mest then I will be punk. That has to be the dumbest thing I heard, in a while. Thursday and Mest are not punk, mest is exactly like friggin Blink 182 and Sum 41 but not as popular. I hate rap kids wearing studded belts, sure you need a belt to hold your pants up that are 20 sizes too big but dont style the studs. But i hate pop punk kids more, I am not a true punk I prefer hardcore and stuff like that over bands like Dropkick Murphys and the Unseen, but at least I know about the real punk scene.
When I ski I dont want to listen to some mellow flowing crap that may fit when you slow down a jump on video. I want some guy screaming that is gonna make me either push myself or punch the idiot that snakes me in the face. If you hate what the play on the radio at your mountain bring your own CDs up there or put on some headphones and stop bitching. The whole flow of rap just doesnt pump me up...I dont hate rap but I personal am not motivated by it.
The irony is that you totally suck and the look down on me and I dont give a f---. Cause I hate assholes...
