Re Article: Mumia Jamal

That's a pretty well written essay, but I have to say that I disagree with the thesis. I used to think that Mumia was a martyr for the injustice and racial profiling of American police, but after reading some highly qualified sources, the evidence seems to directly point to Mumia. The gun Mumia had was the same caliber as the bullets that killed the cop, witnessses saw the act happen, and there was gunpowder residue on his hands, he confessed etc. I have heard a lot of conflicting stories about the case, but the more credible ones are against Mumia. I'll try to show you guys where I got my information, because otherwise it's just my word against Kamik's.

Hey man thats cool, I'm sure there are a ton of credible sources out there that say he did do it. I had to wade through a ton of bullshit stuff to find what I thought was credible information that he DIDN'T commit the crime. Even if he did do it though, you have to admit that there was some pretty heavy racial profiling/rights violations during his trial and imprisonment.

Personally after reading alot of different sources I think he did do the crime but he was treated pretty bad throughout his trial though~I just cant stand that whenever a white man kills a black or vice versa someone always has to bring in the race card and say that it was done because they didnt like their color of skin

I definetly think he did do it. The attorney (Michael Smerconish)that set up the charitable fund for the Faulkner family has a talk show in Philly and has discussed the case many times. I have also done my fair share of reading on the case and there is no doubt in my mind that he is a cop killer and should be given the death penalty.

I am also so sick of people playing the race card. Like how Jessie Jackson uses it every chance he gets.

jesse jackson is a weiner, plain and simple.

by the way, i wrote a 18 page research essay on it, not an opinion, one that showed both sides, and I personally think he did it. Fry Mumia

'He got fired? What did he do?'

'He jumped off of the roof again'

Yeah, I think he did it, but everybody does have to admit that due process was pretty messed up because of racial bias.

i cant begin to explain how much I hate Jesse Jackson~he is such a hypocrite he goes out and preaches to his people about God and then goes out and committs one of the 10 Commandments~adultery~and has a child in it too~f-cking moron--I met him once in Disney World at sum conference and he talks like hes above everybody and doesnt have to be nice to neone

Hmmm... Mumia Abu-Jamal. Although there is evidence that points at him a lot, there is also evidence that argues for Mumia's innocence. The other thing is... to be convicted in the united states, the prosecution must have irrefutable evidence and he must be clearly found guilty of his crime. 'innocent til proven guilty'. This is the motto of our nation's justice system, and Mumia has yet top be PROVEN guilty in the court, so technically, they ave no right detaining him.
